Overview

IBM Information Server WebSphere^® QualityStage modules enable you to standardize, verify, correct, and enhance international address information. Additional modules for verifying addresses can help you receive postal discounts by enabling you for eligibility in certification programs with the USPS, the Canada Post, and the Australia Post. These certification programs grant significant discounts to organizations that produce highly accurate addresses. Businesses that depend on direct mailings can receive significant discounts, helping to build a strong case for return on investment (ROI). This release also includes product modules to perform geospatial analysis and enhance the quality of data for SAP users.

IBM WebSphere QualityStage Worldwide Address Verification Solution 8.0 provides comprehensive address parsing, standardization, and validation, available in selected packages against postal reference files for over 240 countries and territories.
IBM WebSphere QualityStage Module for CASS 7.7 provides USPS-certified address verification and enhancement for U.S. addresses. It meets all of the requirements of CASS to allow you to qualify for USPS discounts. This module ensures the completeness, consistency, and validity of critical U.S. address information in corporate databases.
IBM WebSphere QualityStage Module for DPID 7.5.1 provides Australian Post-certified address verification and enhancement with DPID for Australian addresses. The module meets all of the requirements of the Address Matching Approval System to allow you to qualify for Australian postal discounts. WebSphere QualityStage Module for DPID ensures the completeness, consistency, and validity of critical Australian address information in corporate databases.
IBM WebSphere QualityStage Module for SERP 7.5 provides Canada Post-certified address verification and enhancement for Canadian addresses. WebSphere QualityStage Module for SERP ensures the completeness, consistency, and validity of critical Canadian address information in corporate databases.
IBM WebSphere QualityStage Module for Geolocator 2.0.1 provides a powerful solution for QualityStage users to perform geocoding, reverse geocoding, and point-in-polygon determination.
IBM Information Server Data Quality Module for SAP 2.0 provides SAP-certified matching and search (SAP Interface certification BC-BAS-DES).

IBM WebSphere QualityStage leverages a parallel processing environment. When coupled with enrichment functionality, it can quickly process terabytes to petabytes of information. This includes processing for Windows™, UNIX^®, and Linux-based systems.

IBM WebSphere QualityStage enables enterprises to easily create service-oriented architecture- (SOA-) based applications for the on demand enterprise. Coupled with IBM WebSphere Integration Services Director, the data quality applications can be deployed as industry-leading services through SOAP/HTTP, EJB, or JMS-based services. WebSphere QualityStage can also take advantage of address enrichment and certification routines for the U.S., including:

Enrichment of address data from zip code to house number, correcting information as it is being processed in parallel
Ability to overlay critical address data fields with the correct information, providing trusted information for the matching phase of the application

IPLA and Subscription and Support considerations

IPLA licenses can be transferred from one machine to another within, but not limited to an enterprise. You may aggregate the capacity for all the processors the product is operated on to achieve a more economic price. This will result in a single Proof of Entitlement (PoE). It is your responsibility to manage the distribution of Value Units within the limits of the entitlement of the product license.

Subscription and Support must cover the same capacity as the product license entitlement. Subscription and Support will be available in the country in which the agreement is made.

Server

A server is a computer system that executes requested procedures, commands, or applications to one or more user or client devices. A PoE must be obtained for each server regardless of the number of processors and partitions in the server on which the program runs or for each server managed by the program. Where blade technology is employed, each blade is considered a separate server.
