IBM® MaaS360® is a comprehensive enterprise mobility management (EMM) platform used to remotely configure devices, enforce security policies, push apps and documents, and protect work data. With support for Apple iOS, Android, Mac OS X, and Microsoft™ Windows™ devices, MaaS360 enables you to choose the right mobile management and security capabilities for your business.

Delivered as a cloud service on a secure multitenant architecture, MaaS360 provides everything you would expect from a powerful EMM solution, while simplifying deployment and management. MaaS360 enables you to support any mobile deployment, with the latest devices, usage models, and layered security. Everything you need to manage the entire mobile lifecycle, from enrollment to policy management, security controls, app and content management, help desk support, and device retirement, is available in a single platform. To learn more, visit IBM MaaS360 Enterprise Mobility Management website.

Based on customer feedback and IBM's strategic focus on securing the mobile enterprise, IBM intends to rename IBM MobileFirst™ Protect (SaaS) back to MaaS360 (SaaS). The name change would not affect entitlements. Customers with existing entitlements to components within MobileFirst Protect solutions would have the same entitlements to MaaS360 solutions.

Statement of good security practices
Bottom rule

IT system security involves protecting systems and information through prevention, detection, and response to improper access from within and outside your enterprise. Improper access can result in information being altered, destroyed, or misappropriated or can result in misuse of your systems to attack others. Without a comprehensive approach to security, no IT system or product should be considered completely secure and no single product or security measure can be completely effective in preventing improper access. IBM systems and products are designed to be part of a comprehensive security approach, which will necessarily involve additional operational procedures, and may require other systems, products, or services to be most effective. IBM does not warrant that systems and products are immune from the malicious or illegal conduct of any party.
