Note: IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender V8.2 now includes support for Web Services as a standard utility feature within each edition of the WebSphere Transformation Extender family.

Included with IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender V8.2:

• A Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) adapter
• Web Services Definition Language (WSDL) importer

SOAP is a protocol for exchanging XML-based messages.

Withdrawal of the Web Services Pack will not impact the WebSphere Transformation Extender user community.
