Effective on the dates listed, IBM will withdraw from marketing the following programs and all associated features licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement (IPLA):

Effective July 28, 2006, IBM will withdraw program warranty service for the following program releases licensed under the IPLA:

  • IBM Grid Toolbox for AIX, V1 (5765-G22)
  • IBM Grid Toolbox for Linux on xSeries, V1 (5765-G29)
  • IBM Grid Toolbox for Linux on iSeries and pSeries, V1 (5733-GD1)
  • IBM Grid Toolbox for OS/400, V1 (5733-GT1)

On or after the effective dates of withdrawal, you can no longer order these products directly from IBM or an IBM Distributor.

The IBM Grid Toolbox functionality is replaced by Univa's product, Univa Globus Enterprise (UGE). This product is available through Univa Corporation
