Effective March 12, 2002, IBM will withdraw from marketing the
following programs licensed under the IBM Customer Agreement.
Effective November 12, 2002, program services will be
discontinued.

Replacement Product Information:
The ESCON Channel Connectivity for AIX program is replaced by IBM
PCI ESCON Control Unit Connectivity V2.1 (5765-D49).
There is no replacement program for the Block Multiplexer Channel

Support for the programs will be withdrawn by three months after the
announcement. The IBMLink ServiceLink library of answered questions and
other technical information for the programs remains available.
