Overview

IBM is withdrawing services for selected S/390® software programs licensed under the IBM Customer Agreement. For a list of affected programs and service withdrawal dates, refer to the Description section.

Note: In Software Announcement 295-249 , dated June 12, 1995, IBM announced that consolidated S/390 end of service announcements would be released in March and September. Today we are announcing a change to that procedure. End of service announcements will now be released in February and August, giving customers a longer lead time for migrating to newer releases and products.

The discontinuance of service is for the standalone version of DFSMS/MVS 1.5 only. The equivalent version of DFSMS/MVS 1.5 that is packaged as part of OS/390 remains in service until the discontinuance of service of the release of OS/390 that includes DFSMS/MVS 1.5 (OS/390 Releases 7, 8, and 9).
