Integrating with enterprise applications is easy with the out-of-the-box capabilities of WebSphere Transformation Extender Pack for SWIFTNet Funds. This updated pack is a part of the WebSphere Transformation Extender family, which includes packs for X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, HL7, SWIFTNet FIN, NCPDP, EANCOM, Odette, PeopleSoft, SAP R/3, SAP XI, and Siebel. High volumes of complex application data can be validated and transformed without the need for hand coding. These offerings help enable:

Overview

WebSphere^® Transformation Extender Pack for SWIFTNet Funds is now updated to Version 1.1. This SWIFTNet Funds pack, a solution accelerator for use with WebSphere Transformation Extender, serves the SWIFT user community in the banking and investment industries.

In July 2006, WebSphere Transformation Extender V8.1, a leading universal data transformation engine, was made available through the IBM Passport Advantage^® program. The SWIFTNet Funds V1.0 industry pack was included in that announcement as an optional component of the WebSphere Transformation Extender V8.1 product. Effective on the planned availability date, the SWIFTNet Funds V1.1 pack replaces the SWIFTNet Funds V1.0 pack. Refer to 206-162

SWIFTNet Funds is a SWIFT solution that enables standardization and automation of data for business processes unique to the banking and investment funds industry.

Enhancements to V1.1 of this pack include:

Additional components to reflect the SWIFTNet Funds applicable changes in SWIFT FIN SRG 2006
Additional network validation rules
Support for SWIFTNet Funds V3.0 and V3.1

Pack for SWIFTNet Funds continues support for ISO 20022 fund messages, including validation and transformation to relevant SWIFT FIN SRG 2006 messages.

Description

WebSphere Transformation Extender Pack for SWIFTNet Funds helps accelerate development and deployment of WebSphere Transformation Extender solutions when delivering bidirectional transformation, validation, and content-based delivery of SWIFTNet Funds messages.

WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio includes the tools to deliver transformation solutions with the SWIFTNet Funds pack. Solutions for SWIFTNet Funds can be deployed to any of the following base editions of WebSphere Transformation Extender run-time environment:

WebSphere Transformation Extender
WebSphere Transformation Extender with Command Server
WebSphere Transformation Extender with Launcher
WebSphere Transformation Extender for Message Broker

WebSphere Transformation Extender Pack for SWIFTNet Funds V1.1 provides:

ISO 20022 fund messages
Transformations between ISO 20022 and ISO 15022 (SWIFT FIN) for the relevant funds messages
Support for SWIFTNet Funds V3.0 and V3.1 additional messages

IPLA and subscription and support considerations: IPLA licenses can be transferred from one machine to another within, but not limited to, an enterprise. You can aggregate the capacity for all the processors the product is operated on to achieve a more economic price. This will result in a single proof of entitlement (PoE). It is your responsibility to manage the distribution of Value Units within the limits of the entitlement of the product license.

Subscription and Support must cover the same capacity as the product license entitlement. Subscription and Support will be available in the country in which the agreement is made.

Packaging: Each WebSphere Transformation Extender Pack software is shipped on CD-ROM with one CD-ROM per platform. The CD-ROM contains the IBM License Agreement and programming code.

The WebSphere Transformation Extender Packs use the security and auditability features of the host hardware and software.

The security functions of the WebSphere Transformation Extender Packs depend on the feature and functions of the existing program.

The customer is responsible for evaluation, selection, and implementation of security features, administrative procedures, and appropriate controls in application systems and communication facilities.

Charge metrics definitions

Per application instance: You are permitted to deploy and run one copy of the licensed product on one server. For the WebSphere Transformation Extender Industry Packs, they are installed on the WebSphere Transformation Extender Design Studio machine but are licensed per application instance on the production, backup, and system test servers. You can install the industry packs on any number of Design Studio Servers, but can only deploy them only to the number of servers that match how many application instances acquired

Per establishment: If you acquired an establishment authorization, you are permitted to deploy an unlimited number of copies of the licensed program only on servers owned or leased by you that are located at a single physical site, including the surrounding campus and satellite offices.
