The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter portfolio has been expanded to
better support IBM's industry focus. In addition to providing
connectivity to support the automotive and electronic industries, this
release contains two new adapters to provide connectivity to energy and
utility industry-specific applications. New technology adapters, in this
release, provide support for healthcare industry standards, such as

DescriptionAs part of the IBM WebSphere Business Integration family, the IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters further extend the breadth of the IBM business integration portfolio. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters can make your business more flexible by running with either the message or the process brokers that underpin WebSphere Business Integration; by connecting to WebSphere Application Server Enterprise V5, in conjunction with WebSphere Studio Application Developer Integration Edition V5; and by running with IBM WebSphere MQ Series Integrator/Integrator Broker or with IBM WebSphere InterChange Server as the hub for your business integration efforts. In supporting multiple brokers, these adapters help protect your technology investments in applications and systems. Connectivity is critical in establishing an integrated, enterprise-wide system from which companies can extract information from disparate sources. The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters allow companies to address this need for total connectivity with one coherent approach. All IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters run on the same common framework, ensuring that they may be reused with different brokers as your integration needs change over time. The common framework also allows greater speed and ease of adapter deployment, requiring less skill to install a broad range of adapters. With this introduction of new adapters, IBM not only adds the ability to integrate with a new backend system, it also expands the portfolio to include more than 50 adapters in support of 12 industries. An Adapter Development Kit is available so you can develop custom adapters based on IBM's common framework. For information about adapters that are unchanged in this release, refer to: The release of IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters V2.3.1 include the following new adapters: Application adapters IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for IndusConnect Framework — Is targeted for Energy and Utility industry customers and facilitates transactions with the Indus integration product IndusConnect. The IndusConnect Framework enables integration of an Indus International core solution with other best-of-breed enterprise applications. The adapter communicates via the IndusConnect API to support all IndusConnect Framework integration business objects and provides data translation capabilities between the standard IndusConnect and WebSphere Business Integration for Energy and Utilities data formats. With this adapter, an Indus Enterprise Asset Management® (EAM) solution is easily married to the rest of the enterprise. This adapter is English only and can only run in English environments. This adapter is available on Microsoft™ Windows® 2000, Windows NT®, and AIX®. This adapter was tested with and requires IndusConnect/Framework R9.0.3. Connectivity between the Indus Framework and IBM adapter is provided using HTTP sessions. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Maximo MEA — Is targeted for energy and utility industry customers and is a transformation gateway that listens directly to a Maximo product, converts the information into an eXtensible Markup Language (XML) format, and resends the information to its destination. Using the Maximo Enterprise Adapter (MEA) as the interface enables this adapter to connect to all Maximo products. This adapter supports the Open Applications Group (OAG) 7.2 XML format for the data going in and out of the MEA. By using the OAG 7.2 definition, this adapter provides a standard interface to the client into the BPI hub. The MEA also supports multiple output forms (text, database, MQ, and so on). This adapter is available on Windows 2000, Windows NT, and AIX. This adapter was tested with and requires Maximo MEA for 5.1 with patch 359. Connectivity between MEA and the IBM adaptor is provided using IBM WebSphere MQ Series Queues. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for QAD MFG/PRO — Is a cross-industry adapter that particularly supports IBM's Automotive and Electronics industries. The adapter allows customers to connect to QAD's main ERP product, MFG/PRO, which provides a backbone for collaboration across a manufacturer's value chain. This is meta-data driven and enables bidirectional, real-time integration between QAD MFG/PRO and other enterprise applications. The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for QAD MFG/PRO supports MFG/PRO V9.0, is translated in English only, and is available on Windows, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX. Technology adapters IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for COM — Enables real-time integration between the Component Object Model (COM)-based Automation applications and WebSphere Business Integration brokers. This generic COM adapter is meta-data driven and supports seamless integration with many COM applications. This adapter uses a Java™ bridge to integrate with the COM Applications and supports unidirectional Request processing in this first release. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for COM includes an object discovery agent (ODA) that aids in the creation of business objects specific to a COM application instance using Type Libraries. This adapter is provided in English only and only runs in English environments. It is available on Windows NT and Windows 2000. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for CORBA — enables bidirectional real-time integration between Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) applications and WebSphere Business Integration brokers. This generic CORBA adapter is meta-data driven and supports seamless integration with many CORBA applications. The adapter is multi-threaded and can act as a CORBA Client as well as a CORBA Server. As a CORBA Server, this adapter can expose collaborative business processes as CORBA Server objects that can be invoked by remote clients. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for CORBA includes an ODA that aids in the creation of business objects specific to a CORBA application instance using IDL definitions. This adapter is provided in English only and runs only in English environments. It is available on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Exchange — Enables bidirectional real-time data communication between integration brokers and Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This adapter enables the synchronization of Outlook Appointments, Contacts, Mails, and Tasks with other enterprise applications. The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Exchange is meta-data driven. This adapter is available on the Windows 2000 platform. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Healthcare Data Protocols — Supports both the WebSphere Business Integration solution for HIPPA and the WebSphere Business Integration solution for Healthcare by allowing integration brokers to exchange business objects with applications that send or receive data encoded in Health Level Seven (HL7) message standard or National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) standard. The connector allows integration broker flows to asynchronously exchange business objects with applications that issue or receive HL7 or NCPDP messages when change or data occur. The adapter provides data translation service for the entire collection of message types, event types, and queries defined by the HL7 standard; it also provides for the entire collection of transaction types defined by the NCPDP standard. The object representation of messages is meta-data driven so that customizing business objects to suit individual implementation requirements is a much easier task. Meta-data driven object representation and full support of the healthcare standards offers consistency and reduced time-to-market implementations. Message routing and format conversion are initiated by an event polling technique. The connector uses an MQ implementation of the JMS, an API for accessing enterprise messaging systems. The connector retrieves HL7 or NCPDP messages from queues, calls the HL7 or NCPDP data handler to convert messages to their corresponding business objects, and then delivers them to the broker. In the opposite direction, the connector receives business object requests from the broker, converts them into HL7 or NCPDP messages using the same data handler, and then delivers the messages to an MQSeries® queue. The adapter supports connectivity to HL7 V2.4 and NCPDP V5.1. The NCPDP message standard only supports SBCS. It is available on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Solaris, and AIX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Lotus Domino — Is meta-data driven and enables bidirectional, real-time integration between Lotus Domino and other enterprise applications. The adapter supports integration with Lotus Domino at a "document" level. The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Lotus Domino supports Domino R5 (5.03 or later) and R6, is English only, and is available on Windows, Solaris, and AIX.

— Enables integration between other applications and applications
running on The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for iSeries is meta-data driven, and the WebSphere Business Integration Adapter business objects are based on the RPG programs being executed. This English-only adapter is not DBCS enabled and is available on Windows, HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX. The adapter uses IBM Toolbox for Java to execute a RPG program on iSeries. Mainframe adapters IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Natural — Provides connectivity to a Natural application by executing the Natural program and retrieving the data returned from the execution. Natural is a fourth-generation language for application development on the OS/390® platform. The adapter uses JDBC connectivity to mainframe systems. Standard operations on the applications are executed using stored procedure calls. This adapter uses the NEON Shadow client and server to achieve connectivity. The adapter for Natural is available on Windows, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for IDMS Database — Provides access to IDMS data on mainframe systems using JDBC connectivity and host RPC. Standard operations on the applications are executed using stored procedure calls. This adapter uses the NEON Shadow client and server to achieve connectivity. The adapter for IDMS is available on Windows, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX. Enhanced in this release Many elements of the adapter portfolio have been enhanced for the release of IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters V2.3.0 and V2.3.1. These include: Components IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter framework The adapter framework is a feature-rich, standard adapter architecture to design, develop, and run connectivity solutions. The framework is the run-time environment for the IBM WebSphere Adapter Development Kit and the IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters. In this release of IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters, the Adapter Framework's connectivity has been expanded so that IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters can now connect to WebSphere Application Server Enterprise V5 in conjunction with WebSphere Studio Application Developer Integration Edition V5. Note: WebSphere Business Integration Adapters V2.3.0 delivers adapter framework support only for WebSphere Application Server. This version of the framework is provided in English only. The adapters from WebSphere Business Integration Adapters V2.2 can be run with this version of the framework. When V2.3.1 becomes available, upgrade your framework and your adapters to V2.3.1 to achieve the most benefit from your investment. When V2.3.1 of the WebSphere Business Integration Adapter Framework becomes available, it will provide support for all the usual brokers, including WebSphere Application Server. This is the version of the release to which customers on WebSphere Business Integration Adapters V2.2, or previous versions, should upgrade. Application adapters IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Ariba buyer — Enables bi-directional real-time integration between the Ariba Buyer application and other enterprise applications. Ariba Buyer automates the full buying cycle management and tracking of spend operations. The Ariba Buyer application is an integral part of the Ariba Spend Management solutions. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Ariba Buyer is meta-data driven and includes object discovery capability that aids in the creation of business objects specific to an Ariba Buyer application instance. The adapter enables integration to Ariba Buyer V8.0. Support for HP-UX is new in this release: The adapter also is available on Windows, Solaris, and AIX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Clarify CRM — Has been updated to support Clarify 11.5. The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Clarify CRM is a meta-data driven connector that leverages the database-independent Clarify API Toolkit (a set of C library functions and their interfaces) to support either an Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server database. WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Clarify CRM has an event management strategy built directly in the connector. This solution makes use of an event table and a set of database triggers per object. The Clarify adapter supports connectivity to Clarify 8.0, 8.1, 8.5, 9.0, 10.0, 10.1, 11.1, 11.2, and now 11.5, and is available on Windows and Solaris. This adapter is also available for Clarify 8.0 on Windows, Clarify 8.1 on Solaris, Clarify 8.5 on Solaris, Clarify 9.0 on Solaris, Clarify 10.0 on Solaris, Clarify 10.1 on Solaris or Windows NT with Oracle and SQL Server, Clarify 11.1 on Windows NT with Oracle or Solaris, and Clarify 11.2 on Solaris. This adapter is only available in English and is enabled only for English environments. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for eMatrix — Provides customers with real-time, bi-directional integration between the eMatrix global collaboration platform and other e-business and Enterprise applications. This Java-based adapter now runs on the WebSphere Business Integration Adapter Framework expanding its capability to all brokers supported by the framework, rather than only the WebSphere InterChange Server as supported by the previous version of the adapter. Other highlights include support for bidirectional asynchronous event processing via the eMatrix ADK as well an accompanying ODAgent which facilitates creation of WebSphere Business Integration business object definitions which model eMatrix object types and relationships. The adapter has been certified with eMatrix V9.5.3 and V9.6 and is available on Windows 2000, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX. This adapter is not SBCS/DBCS enabled. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for i2 — Provides bidirectional, real-time integration between i2 modules and other enterprise applications. i2 provides value chain management solutions, which help companies plan and execute the activities involved in managing supply and demand. These solutions span the entire scope of value chain interactions, including supplier relationship management, supply chain management, and demand chain management. i2 Common Integration Services (CIS) help you to build and implement interfaces for interapplication communication and high-volume extract. CIS enables connectivity between external applications and i2 application modules. WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for i2 integrates with i2 application modules through i2's CIS API. The CIS API from i2 is an implementation of the JCA Common Client Interface. i2 has a suite of application modules that support CIS. The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for i2 is meta-data driven, has object discovery and authentication capability, and enables integration to any SDK CIS-enabled i2 V6 or V6.0.1 application. Many i2 modules V5.2, or later, support CIS SDK V6. This adapter is only available in English and is enabled for English environments. It is available on Windows, Solaris, and AIX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for MetaSolv Applications — The adapter, formerly known as the IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for MetaSolv TBS, has been renamed in this release. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for mySAP.com — Has minor enhancements. Refer to the adapter Release Notes for more detailed information. The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for mySAP.com supports all of SAP's various interfaces and presents the users with numerous integration options with relatively little risk. The adapter provides bidirectional, multithreaded, real-time integration between SAP and e-commerce, CRM, supply chain, ERP, custom, and legacy applications. The adapter consists of the connector infrastructure and modules of functionality. The Extension Module has advanced event detection mechanisms and business object handlers that manipulate the most common objects from SAP. This module allows you to retrieve and manipulate objects to and from SAP in real time, and supports both request/reply and publish/subscribe models for object retrieval. The adapter notifies you of the success and status of your object transaction request, and returns the unique ID of any created objects. The adapter enables real-time retrieval of a complex object from SAP or a request to create, change, or delete an object. The RFC Server Module allows SAP applications to make synchronous calls to the collector agent. This event-driven functionality is ideal for systems like begin bracket pending (BBP) that require real-time access to a broker for handling requests. This module is multithreaded for scalability. It includes a non-invasive business object generation tool that facilitates business object development. The BAPI Module allows direct calls to BAPIs. By accessing the BAPIs without routing the call through the ABAP Extension infrastructure, the adapter greatly improves performance. This module is 100% non-invasive. All business object information is stored externally to the SAP system. The ALE Module allows the connector to send IDocs into SAP for processing by ALE, and to receive IDocs from SAP to ALE event notification. This 100% non-invasive asynchronous solution utilizes SAP's RFC protocol for guaranteeing exactly-once delivery and is ideal for large objects. The Hierarchical Dynamic Retrieve Module offers 100% non-invasive meta-data driven data retrieval for application-specific business objects (ASBO). To facilitate upgrades and easy maintenance, the IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for mySAP.com is implemented in the IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter SAP Development Namespace. The SAP adapter supports connectivity to SAP 3.x and 4.x. It is available on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Peoplesoft — Provides bidirectional, real-time integration between PeopleSoft 8.4, 8.1, and 7.5 as well as other e-commerce, CRM, supply chain, and ERP applications. The PeopleSoft 8 adapter is synchronous and entirely Java-based. The adapter interacts with PeopleSoft through PeopleTools' Component Interface Java API and includes an event management strategy that supports a three-tiered architecture. The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for PeopleSoft is meta-data driven, which eases management by making the integration infrastructure application-independent. The adapter, which provides object discovery capability, is shipped with a sample department business object that can be used as an example, facilitating deployment by reducing the time spent on development. In this release, support for the HP-UX platform has been added. The adapter is also available on Windows, Solaris, and AIX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Portal Infranet — Provides a comprehensive, real-time, bidirectional integration solution between Portal and other packaged or legacy applications, enabling companies to integrate their billing and customer information across the entire operation. This can result in more responsive customer service processes and ultimately more effective, efficient, and profitable businesses. This completely Java-based, meta-data driven adapter includes object discovery capability and provides a comprehensive integration solution using Portals Java PCM API. The Portal Infranet adapter supports connectivity to Portal Infranet 6.1, 6.2 and, new in this release, 6.5. It is available on Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Solaris. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Retek — Has been updated since the last release. The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Retek is meta-data driven and offers bidirectional, real-time integration between a single Retek Integration Bus (RIB)-enabled Retek application and other non-Retek enterprise applications. The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Retek supports Retek 10, and is available on Windows, Solaris, and AIX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Siebel e-Business applications — Provides comprehensive bidirectional, real-time integration between Siebel and order management, ERP, e-business, and custom and legacy systems in a one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many scenario. This Siebel-validated WebSphere Business Integration Adapter enables you to provide superior customer service and to cost-effectively execute and manage quote-to-order fulfillment processes that span multiple applications within the enterprise and also to trading partners, without any customizations, or additions to your Siebel installation. The Siebel adapter uses the Siebel Java API to ensure database and client independence. The adapter agent can directly access and manipulate Siebel Business Objects and Siebel Business Components, and also now supports Integration Objects. The adapter can support any platform of Siebel (for example, Windows 98, Windows NT, UNIX®, or Web), in any deployment strategy (thin client, fat client, or Web), and in any mode (tethered or undocked). A unique event capture mechanism ensures that all events are captured, regardless of deployment strategy or state of the environment. The adapter is meta-data driven to enable GUI extensibility and development without recoding. Through configuration, the WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Siebel e-business applications can authenticate in a specific Siebel Role, abiding by all restrictions for that role. Another configuration ensures that all Siebel customizations are visible and honored by this connector during processing. The Siebel adapter can be deployed in a single instance or multiple instances, for scalability and performance. The Siebel adapter supports connectivity to Siebel 2000, Siebel 7, and Siebel 7.5. In addition to being available on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Solaris, and AIX, this adapter is now available on HP-UX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for SWIFT — Provides connectivity to the SWIFT financial messaging network through the SWIFT Alliance Access, as part of the solution for the Financial Services industry. The adapter allows firms to migrate to the new ISO 15022 message standard without placing extensive new requirements on their existing ISO 7775 message infrastructure. The adapter includes prebuilt maps for commonly used messages. These maps can be extended and customized using an intuitive and user-friendly toolset. The adapter, in this release, provides support to all SWIFT message types in category 1 to 9. Both the message types and maps upgrade in accordance to the SRG2002 standard. The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for SWIFT utilizes the MQSeries host adapter, MQSA, which is provided on the SAA® gateway. This adapter is only available in English and is enabled only for English environments. It is available on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Telcordia applications — Offers the telecommunications industry bidirectional, real-time integration between Telcordia Service Delivery Module and other e-business and enterprise applications. Telcordia provides operational support systems and network software in the telecommunications industry. Service Delivery, a business workflow management application, is the Operations Support System (OSS) that sits in the Network Management Layer (NML) and orchestrates the entire provisioning and activation process. WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Telcordia Applications, based on the MQSeries Adapter technology, communicates with Telcordia's Service Delivery module at the messaging level via XML over MQ. The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Telcordia Applications is meta-data driven, has object discovery capability, and enables integration to Telcordia Service Delivery Module 9.5.1 and, new in this release, 10.0. This adapter includes the XML Datahandler and is available on Windows, Solaris, and AIX. This adapter is only available in English and is enabled only for English environments. Technology adapters In addition to the changes indicated, the following adapters have been enhanced to provide support for HP-UX: IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapters for JMS; for WebSphere MQ; for WebSphere MQ Integrator Broker; and for WebSphere MQ Workflow. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for e-mail — Now supports enhanced E-mail Mail Server reconnect capabilities while polling mailboxes. The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for e-Mail enables an integration broker to exchange business objects with a variety of applications. This connectors sends e-mail messages containing business objects or files in response to collaboration requests. It also checks the mailboxes on mail servers for messages, converts the messages to business objects, and posts the business objects to the broker. In addition, swappable data handlers can be used to customize the format message attachments. The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for e-Mail is only available in English and is enabled only for English environments. It is now available on Windows 2000, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for FIX Protocol — Allows integration brokers to exchange business objects with applications that send or receive data in the form of Financial Information eXchange (FIX) messages. The connector allows integration broker flows to asynchronously exchange business objects with applications that issue or receive FIX messages when change or data occur. The connector is meta-data driven. Message routing and format conversion are initiated by an event polling technique. The connector uses an MQ implementation of the JMS, an API for accessing enterprise messaging systems. The connector retrieves FIX messages from queues, calls the FIX data handler to convert messages to their corresponding business objects, and then delivers them to the broker. In the opposite direction, the connector receives business object requests from the broker, converts them into FIX messages using the same data handler, and then delivers the messages to in MQSeries queue. A new feature in this release is the support to message encoded in multiple character sets for FIX V4.2 and V4.3. This product is only available in English and is enabled only for English environments. This adapter supports FIX message sets V4, V4.1, V4.2, and V4.3. It is available on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for JText — Has been enhanced to support two configurable forms of file parsing: Text and Binary. In addition, the adapter's FTP capabilities have been enhanced to further support file exchange with MVS™ platforms. The adapter is now available on Windows 2000, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX. The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for JText also enables integration brokers to communicate with an application through the exchange of text files. The connector is used when an application does not have a C, C++, or Java standard API through which the broker can communicate, and when it is not feasible to have an event table for a custom-built application. In these cases, the simple method for integrating an application into a larger system is by exchanging text files through the JText connector. In addition to support of local text files, the WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for JText supports integration with remote text files accessible using the FTP protocol. This capability provides greater integration durability in that file sources can be moved across the network with minimal changes to integration parameters. e-business products IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Web services — Now includes enhanced configurability to interoperate with a larger scope of Web services. The WebSphere Business Integration Adapter for Web Services enables users to expose Interchange Service business processes, in the form of collaborations, as Web Services. This capability provides for a set of self-contained, dynamic applications that can be described, published, located, or invoked over the network to create innovative products, processes, and value chains. In addition to exposing internal Web services, this adapter can also be used to communicate to externally hosted Web services. The Web Services adapter enables true bidirectional support for event and request processing from within the adapter. Event processing can be synchronous or asynchronous, and listeners within the adapter provide support for Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) over HTTP, HTTPS, and JMS transports. Integration with the Web Services Gateway product exposes/invokes external services on behalf of the adapter, and a WSDL ODA eases generation and deployment of business objects. The ODA can retrieve WSDL from a local file or connect to a remote URL or USSI registry. This adapter is now available on Windows 2000, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX. IBM WebSphere Business Integration Data Handler for XML — Has been enhanced to support a larger set of XML Schema constructs outlined in the XML Schema specification. Specifically, the accompanying XML ODA which facilitates creation of WebSphere Business Integration business object definitions and the XML data handler now provide support for multiple schema namespaces through imports. The WebSphere Business Integration Data Handler for XML is a data conversion product whose primary task is to convert business objects to and from the XML format. It supports the XML V1.0 and can be used with most WebSphere Business Integration technology adapters. This data handler supports translation of document type definition (DTD) and XML Schema-based XML documents to and from business objects. XML business objects are generated using the XML ODA. The XML ODA can generate business objects from DTD or XML Schema definitions. Edifecs SpecBuilder 4.0x (5620-FHI) is still compatible with the XML Data Handler for DTD-based business objects, but it is not a prerequisite and does not support XML Schema-based XML business objects. The XML Data Handler is available in English only and is enabled only for English environments. It is available on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX. Installation and technical support for the products announced in this letter is provided by the Software Maintenance offering of the IBM International Passport Advantage Agreement. This fee service enhances customer productivity by providing voice and/or electronic access into the IBM support organizations. IBM includes Software Maintenance with each program acquired during the coverage period. The coverage period means the period commencing on the date you acquire the program up to the first anniversary date.
