Service Extension: IBM Communications Servers for AIX and Windows NT

Overview

Effective immediately, program services for the following products are extended to December 31, 2004:

• Communications Server for AIX^® V6.1 (selected platforms)
• Communications Server for Windows NT^® and Windows^® 2000 V6.1.1 (selected platforms)

For a complete list of the affected program numbers, refer to the Description section.

Description

Program services for Communications Server for AIX and Communications Server for Windows NT and Windows 2000 are extended to December 31, 2004, for the programs listed below.

Notes

1. The end-of-service date for Communications Server for AIX V6.1 applies to AIX V5, and later.
2. The end-of-service date for Communications Server for Windows NT and Windows 2000 V6.1.1 applies to the Windows 2000 platform.
3. Program services for Communications Server for AIX V6.1 on AIX V4.3.3 and Communications Server for Windows NT V6.1.1 remain in effect until December 31, 2003.

Terms and Conditions

This announcement extends the program services for selected platforms to December 31, 2004. The remaining terms and conditions as previously announced are unaffected by this announcement. Refer to Software Announcement 201-310 , dated October 30, 2001, and Software Announcement 201-214 , dated July 31, 2001.
