Developer Kit for Linux, Version 1.2.2
Developer Kit for Linux, Version 1.2.2 (Developer Kit) is the latest
stable version of the Java virtual machine base required within the
server run-time environment. WebSphere now supports Developer Kit
Version 1.2.2 as well as providing it within the product package

installation and administration procedures are easier to use while still

prerequisites for tailored, open, and complete solutions.
Product Integration
An important aspect of WebSphere (core to the foundation services of the
IBM e-business platform) is its ease of integration with other leading
products for a robust set of application solution offerings. Integration

Proxy support, enabling "forwarding" of HTTP requests from one server
(the proxy) to another. Proxy capability is required in products such as
IBM Small Business suites.
-
Remote configuration updates.
-
Server start/stop.
-
Web-distributed authority versioning and remote access to files on the
server via third-party software.
