Growing family of Ultra320 SCSI offerings for xSeries servers

ServeRAID-6M Controller: The ServeRAID-6M Controller offers advanced RAID and Ultra320 SCSI technology. It is based on high-performance PCI-X architecture and powered by a 600 MHz Intel IOP321 I/O processor based on xScale technology. Teamed with 15,000-rpm Ultra320 SCSI HDD options, they provide a high-performance, wide bandwidth data path to yielding the highest levels of performance of the xSeries SCSI controller and HDD lines.

These offerings, coupled with a supported xSeries server, make an ideal combination to help solve your business-critical, high-speed data storage requirements.

This new Ultra320 SCSI RAID controller provides excellent performance for mid- to advanced-range high-availability storage applications.

The ServeRAID-6M Controller exceeds the performance of the current family of ServeRAID Ultra160 SCSI Controllers due to the following:

Cable orders required: External cables are required when attaching external SCSI storage enclosures.
