IBM® Kenexa® Talent Insights™, powered by Watson™ Analytics, is a cloud-based talent analytics solution that allows human resource (HR) professionals to easily analyze their talent data to support fact-based decisions. Through the use of cognitive analytics, users can quickly and easily explore talent data by simply typing a question or choosing a predefined question and have the results returned in an easy to interpret, visual display. Because it understands the language of HR, users are able to explore data and see results in terms that are familiar to them. Kenexa Talent Insights uncovers patterns and relationships in data and provides insights about alternative paths to explore.

Kenexa Talent Insights delivers a more flexible purchasing solution by adding Kenexa Talent Insights parts to IBM Kenexa Talent Acquisition Suite and IBM Kenexa Talent Optimization Suite in addition to delivering new two and three year data and consulting service packages. These new purchasing solutions makes it more simple and efficient to be able to exploit the benefits of Kenexa Talent Acquisition, Kenexa Talent Optimizations, and Kenexa Talent Insights offerings.

IBM Kenexa Talent Insights includes the power of Watson Analytics to simplify data discovery and analysis without requiring advanced analytics skills. Human resource (HR) professionals can use natural language text to gain actionable insights from their talent suite data. The offering also includes guided data discovery and automatically generated charts to help you identify trends and relationships in your talent data. You can quickly gain insights about your human capital that can help drive better executive decisions. It contains the following features:

  • The ability to test hypothesis using guided data discovery, analyzing the visual results, and are able to dig deeper to find the answers that are needed.
  • A capability to identify and surface hidden patterns and relationships in data, and suggests to HR professionals a set of potential next areas to explore.
  • Interactive visualizations that illustrate insights. The insights are returned in a format that allows the user to visually analyze and explore the data. The visualizations have filtering and drill-down capabilities allowing for more in-depth discovery.
  • Capability to customize data sets, through services, with the ability to configure predefined questions, HR ontology, data definitions, and access controls. These services will leverage talent data templates to help expedite data integration of third-party data sets. Available templates include Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Enhancements

Kenexa Talent Insights two year and three year services starter packs pair data services with a designated consultant to drive insights and recommendations regarding business problems. Data services include data file preparation, upload, and setup of as many as three data sources in year one. Consulting services in year one, year two, and year three assist you in analyzing that data in response to key business questions and challenges.

Metric definitions

Instance: Instance is a unit of measure by which the IBM SaaS can be obtained. An Instance is access to a specific configuration of the IBM SaaS. Sufficient entitlements must be obtained for each Instance of the IBM SaaS made available to access and use during the measurement period specified in customer's Proof of Entitlement (PoE) or Transaction Document.

Engagement: Engagement is a unit of measure by which the services can be obtained. An Engagement consists of professional and/or training services related to the IBM SaaS. Sufficient entitlements must be obtained to cover each Engagement.

Authorized user: Authorized User is a unit of measure by which the program can be licensed. An Authorized User is a unique person who is given access to the program. The program may be installed on any number of computers or servers and each Authorized User may have simultaneous access to any number of instances of the program at one time. Licensee must obtain separate, dedicated entitlements for each Authorized User given access to the program in any manner directly or indirectly (for example, via a multiplexing program, device, or application server) through any means. An entitlement for an Authorized User is unique to that Authorized User and may not be shared, nor may it be reassigned other than for the permanent transfer of the Authorized User entitlement to another person.

Note: Some programs may be licensed where devices are considered users. In that case the following applies: Any computing device that requests the execution of or receives for execution a set of commands, procedures, or applications from the program or that is otherwise managed by the program is considered a separate user of the program and requires an entitlement as if that device were a person.
