IBM® intends to introduce a version of the WebSphere® DataPower® Integration Appliance XI52 Virtual Edition for use within the IBM zEnterprise® BladeCenter® Extension (zBX). IBM intends this virtual appliance to run on System x® blades installed within a zBX. This program will be designed to provide industry-leading security, integration, and optimization capabilities for System z® , while offering similar management capabilities to the physical WebSphere DataPower appliance models.
