IBM Sales Performance Management Sales Planning V5.0, a cloud solution formerly known as IBM Cognos Territory and Quota Management delivers a territories and a set of individual capabilities to manage sales quotas. It also enables sales organizations as well as departments that assist them, to make better informed decisions regarding the allocation of sales resources and targets.

IBM Quota Designer, a feature now available within Sales Performance Management Sales Planning allows users to efficiently access and retrieve sales quotas within the organization.

IBM Cognos Territory and Quota Management V4.0

IBM Cognos Territory and Quota Management V4.0 is a Cloud solution, previously known as IBM Cognos Sales Performance Management on Cloud. It delivers a set of individual capabilities for organizations to manage their sales territories and a set of individual capabilities to manage sales quotas.

Although you can purchase the full set of territory and quota management capabilities, you can also choose to separately purchase only the territory management capabilities or only the quota management capabilities.

The primary features and capabilities in Cognos Territory and Quota Management V4.0 include:

  • Territory Lookups: A capability which allows users to efficiently access and retrieve sales territories to determine and assign an owner or owners to a sales lead.

  • Territory Credit Modeling: A capability which allows users to create a sandbox environment separate from production. This enables them to make territory and crediting changes without impacting current processing. Users can then validate models by comparing outputs between environments.

IBM Cognos Sales Performance Management on Cloud 3.0

  • The IBM Cognos Sales Performance Management on Cloud portfolio leverages a Software-as-a-Service model and includes two optional products:

    • IBM Cognos Territory Management on Cloud 3.0 that helps companies better manage territory definitions, territory assignments, and sales crediting rules.

    • IBM Cognos Quota Management on Cloud 3.0 that assists in the planning, distribution, and administration of sales quotas.
