This release also makes integration between Cognos Incentive Compensation Management on Cloud and Cognos TM1 possible, providing customers with the ability to conduct sales planning, forecasts, reporting, and analytics from their incentive compensation data. And finally, there are a number of solution enhancements and features that help improve the users' interface and experience.

IBM Cognos Territory and Quota Management V4.0

IBM Cognos Territory and Quota Management V4.0 is a Cloud solution, previously known as IBM Cognos Sales Performance Management on Cloud. It delivers a set of individual capabilities for organizations to manage their sales territories and a set of individual capabilities to manage sales quotas.

Although you can purchase the full set of territory and quota management capabilities, you can also choose to separately purchase only the territory management capabilities or only the quota management capabilities.

The primary features and capabilities in Cognos Territory and Quota Management V4.0 include:

  • Territory Lookups: A capability which allows users to efficiently access and retrieve sales territories to determine and assign an owner or owners to a sales lead.

  • Territory Credit Modeling: A capability which allows users to create a sandbox environment separate from production. This enables them to make territory and crediting changes without impacting current processing. Users can then validate models by comparing outputs between environments.

IBM Cognos Incentive Compensation Management on Cloud 8.0

  • IBM Cognos Incentive Compensation Management on Cloud 8.0 lets companies leverage a Software-as-a-Service deployment model in order to automate the process of calculating, reporting, and analyzing variable-based pay.
