IBM Server Implementation Services for Cloud - Linux on z/VM (private cloud) is designed to assist you in designing and implementing a flexible, cost-efficient cloud environment that can be ideal for basic workloads on the System z platform. A customized contract allows you to acquire services according to your needs, budget, and pace of implementation. The scope can include enablement of the virtualization capabilities of System z , z/VM , and Linux , standardization and automation of processes, on-demand provisioning and deprovisioning of dynamically scalable virtualized resources, implementation of a self-service portal interface and the corresponding catalog, testing, and deployment.
A cloud infrastructure can help you reduce IT costs and complexities while supporting revenue generation through quicker development and deployment of products and services, enabling you to remain competitive in a difficult economy.
