Overview

The DisplayPort to Single-Link DVI-D Monitor Cable lets you easily connect a DVI-D digital monitor to a DisplayPort source device.

Features include:

Support for attaching a single-link DVI-D¹ flat panel LCD monitor
1920 x 1200 WUXGA maximum resolution²
20 cm (7.8 in) cable length
DisplayPort plug and DVI-D receptacle connectors
No software required

¹: This monitor cable does not support attachment of a DVI-to-VGA adapter. It is a DVI-D that supports digital flat panel LCD monitors.
²: 1080p is 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Hardware requirements: Selected notebook and desktop systems that offer DisplayPort which supports dual-source operating modes. Dual-source operating modes are sources that support DisplayPort and DVI operating modes.

Not compatible with the ThinkPad W700 notebook. ThinkPad W700 DisplayPort supports DisplayPort-only operating mode. The ThinkPad W700 has a dual-link DVI video interface.

Limitations

This cable does not support attachment of a DVI-to-VGA adapter. It is a DVI-D that supports digital flat panel LCD monitors. Analog monitors cannot be attached using a DVI-to-VGA adapter.
The maximum resolution supported is 1920 x 1200².
