The Lenovo Enhanced USB Port Replicator provides a convenient cable management and connectivity solution for your ThinkPad® and Lenovo notebooks. Simply plug in the USB cable for access to your:
- External monitor — Supports video resolutions up to 1440 x 900 at 60 Hz; 1400 x 1050 at 60, 75, or 85 Hz and allows for easy switching between video modes.
- Internet connection/LAN — Via USB-to-Ethernet (10/100) dongle.
- Audio devices — Through microphone-in and stereo headphone-out jacks, audio-in and stereo audio-out jacks.
- USB peripherals (printer, keyboard, mouse, storage devices) — Through one forward-facing and four rear-facing USB 2.0 ports.

The Lenovo™ Enhanced USB Port Replicator provides a convenient cable management and connectivity solution for notebook systems without a conventional docking connector. Simply plug in the USB cable for access to your monitor, Internet connection/LAN, headphones/speakers, USB printer, keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices.
Features and benefits:
- Compact mini-tower design — Reduces footprint on desk.
- Hot pluggable — Allows you to dock and undock or connect and disconnect devices without rebooting the system.
- LED on front — Displays connectivity status.
- VGA monitor output — Supports video resolutions up to 1440 x 900 at 60 Hz; 1400 x 1050 at 60, 75, or 85 Hz with superior quality. No additional cables are necessary.
- VGA monitor port.
- Dual display settings — Allows you to switch between primary and extended video modes with the push of a button.
- One forward-facing USB 2.0 port — Ideal for use with memory keys and other "quick access" devices. This USB 2.0 port is backward-compatible with USB 1.1 devices.
- Four rear-facing USB 2.0 ports — Ideal for most USB devices, including printers, keyboards, and mice. These USB 2.0 ports are backward-compatible with USB 1.1 devices.
- Stereo headphone-out jack for speakers and headphones.
- Microphone-in jack.
- USB-to-Ethernet (10/100) dongle — Connects to add Internet/LAN connectivity.

Limitations
- Driver does not support Vista 64-bit (supports Vista 32-bit only).
- When used with some systems, the display utility customized for use with the port replicator will override Lenovo Presentation Director when the user selects "Fn + F7". A popup box will appear directing the user to go to that specialized utility to make display selections. On other systems, Presentation Director will function normally.
