Withdrawal from marketing

Effective May 10, 2007, IBM will withdraw from marketing the media pack part numbers from the following product release licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement (IPLA).

Withdrawal of support

Effective April 30, 2008, IBM will withdraw support from the following product release licensed under the IPLA.

This announcement pertains only to WebSphere Everyplace Mobile Portal Enable V5.0. WebSphere Everyplace Mobile Portal Enable V5.1 continues to be available and is not affected by this announcement. Customers who have a valid license and current software maintenance for WebSphere Everyplace Mobile Portal Enable are entitled to use WebSphere Everyplace Mobile Portal Enable V5.1. Customers must upgrade to WebSphere Everyplace Mobile Portal Enable V5.1 in order to receive support after April 30, 2008.

Description

Effective May 10, 2007, IBM will withdraw from marketing the following media packs for WebSphere Everyplace Mobile Portal Enable (5724-L24) V5.0. The media packs for the replacement release, V5.1, are currently available.
