Detailed Description
Each p-listed RPQ 9Q1900 delivers one Processor Activation
equivalent to EPYP (Processor Activation for Processor EPXP) at no
charge for 8284-21A.
Ordering Instructions:
1. Generate a valid new order via eConfig for an 8284-21A using
the Processor Card EPXP.
2. Prior to submitting the order to CSO/BPSO, the comments
section must tell the CSO/BPSO to manually modify the
order as follows:
- Remove the total quantity of EPYP Processor Activations
- Replace the EPYP Features with an equal quantity of 9Q1900
RPQs
3. Submit the order.
4. Following installation of the system, an Record Purpose Only
(RPO-MES) must be processed for the affected system S/N:
- Remove the total quantity of 9Q1900 RPQs
- Add back the EPYP Features in an equal quantity removed in
step 2
Prerequisites:
Prereqs: On-order of following systems:
8284-21A
RPQ 9Q1900 must be input in the configuration at time of bid
submission.
Limitations : - This RPQ is not combinable with RPQ 8A2395/ 9Q1700
and RPQ 8A2396/ 9Q1800 (Double Up Core & Memory)
- This RPQ is not combinable with following Deny Oracle RPQs:
8A2251 / 8A2223 / 8A2224 / 8A2315 / 8A2314/ 8A2176

the machine in which it is installed for the full warranty period
announced for such machine.

damages, or other economic consequential damages, even if advised of
the possibility of such damages. In addition, IBM will not be
liable for any third-party claims against the customer for losses or
damages.
