5655-N98, IBM 31-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition V5.0 is replaced by 5655-R31, IBM 31-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition V6.0, announced in Software Announcement 205-300, dated November 22, 2005 , and by 5655-W43, IBM 31-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition V7.0, announced in Software Announcement 211-264, dated October 04, 2011 .

5655-N99, IBM 64-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition V5.0 is replaced by 5655-R32, IBM 64-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition V6.0, announced in Software Announcement 205-301, dated November 22, 2005 , and by 5655-W44, IBM 64-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition V7.0, announced in Software Announcement 211-265, dated October 04, 2011 .

It is recommended that customers using either IBM 31-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition, V5.0 (5655-N98) or IBM 64-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition, V5.0 (5655-N99) migrate to either IBM 31-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition V7.0 (5655-W43) or IBM 64-bit SDK for z/OS , Java 2 Technology Edition V7.0 (5655-W44).
