It includes workflow functionality that simplifies the management of compensation related business processes, plus a number of user interface improvements that are aimed at making the application more intuitive to use.
IBM Cognos Territory Management on Cloud 3.0 is available in Passport Advantage . It helps to bring efficiency and accuracy to the process of managing territory definitions, territory assignments, and sales crediting rules.
IBM Cognos Quota Management on Cloud 3.0, a new solution in the portfolio available in Passport Advantage , facilitates the process of setting and disseminating quota values across an organization in a controlled and structured manner, allowing direct participation in the quota setting process by users and roles at every level of the organization.

IBM Cognos Sales Performance Management on Cloud 3.0

The IBM Cognos Sales Performance Management on Cloud portfolio leverages a Software-as-a-Service model and includes two optional products:
- IBM Cognos Territory Management on Cloud 3.0 that helps companies better manage territory definitions, territory assignments, and sales crediting rules.
- IBM Cognos Quota Management on Cloud 3.0 that assists in the planning, distribution, and administration of sales quotas.

IBM Cognos Incentive Compensation Management on Cloud 8.0

Cognos Incentive Compensation Management on Cloud 8.0 helps companies leverage a Software-as-a-Service deployment model in order to automate the process of calculating, reporting and analyzing variable-based pay. It is available in Passport Advantage .
- For information about IBM Cognos Incentive Compensation Management V8.0 for on-premise deployments, refer to Software Announcement 212-501, dated December 11, 2012 .

IBM Cognos Sales Performance Management on Cloud 3.0 is a suite that encompasses IBM Cognos Territory Management on Cloud 3.0 and IBM Cognos Quota Management on Cloud 3.0.

IBM Cognos Territory Management on Cloud 3.0 (formerly known as Varicent Assign) is a cloud-based solution for setting up and processing territory assignments and sales crediting. IBM Cognos Territory Management on Cloud helps firms to:
- Manage hierarchies for territories and crediting
- Define and administer how sales territories and account assignments are structured
- Create multiple crediting rules that are based on territory definitions, account assignments, and order of precedence
- View preconfigured dashboards and reports that display recent and historical activities, territory and crediting assignment gaps and conflicts, and audit trails
- Maintain history territory and crediting rule changes with effective audit and tracking
IBM Cognos Quota Management on Cloud 3.0, a new solution in the portfolio, helps sales executives, managers, and professionals at all levels more efficiently plan, approve, and distribute quota assignments that meet revenue expectations and increase sales performance.
- The quota planning owner determines the levels of quota value their organization receive.
- The quota is typically derived from historical business data, which could be available within other IBM Cognos Sales Performance Management modules, imported as a separate process, or created using a blank template.
- The administrator indicates the users and roles, which will participate in the quota process and chooses the level of sign-off, approved and editing capabilities each role is assigned.

Access is a unit of measure by which the IBM SaaS may be obtained. An Access is the rights to use the IBM SaaS. Customer must obtain a single Access entitlement in order to use the IBM SaaS during the measurement period specified in customer's Proof of Entitlement (PoE) or Transaction Document.

Authorized User is a unit of measure by which the IBM SaaS can be obtained. Customer must obtain separate, dedicated entitlements for each unique Authorized User given access to the IBM SaaS in any manner directly or indirectly (for example: via a multiplexing program, device, or application server) through any means. Sufficient entitlements must be obtained to cover the number of Authorized Users given access to the IBM SaaS during the measurement period specified in customer's PoE or Transaction Document.

Eligible Participant is a unit of measure by which the IBM SaaS can be obtained. Each individual or entity eligible to participate in any service delivery program managed or tracked by the IBM SaaS is an Eligible Participant. Sufficient entitlements must be obtained to cover all Eligible Participants managed or tracked by the IBM SaaS during the measurement period specified in customer's PoE or Transaction Document.

Instance is a unit of measure by which the IBM SaaS can be obtained. An Instance is access to a specific configuration of the IBM SaaS. Sufficient entitlements must be obtained for each Instance of the IBM SaaS made available to access and use during the measurement period specified in customer's PoE or Transaction Document.

Million Record Lines is a unit of measure by which the IBM SaaS can be obtained. A Record is the data that represent any physical or electronic document managed by the IBM SaaS, including but not limited to call detail records, invoices, plans, purchase orders, quotes, receipts, returns, sales orders, schedules, and shipments. Record Lines are the line items within the Record processed using the IBM SaaS. Sufficient Million Record Line entitlements must be obtained to cover the total number of Record Lines processed by the IBM SaaS during the measurement period specified in customer's PoE or Transaction.
