Overview

Top rule

IBM® Aspera® on Cloud enables a security-rich exchange of files and folders of any size between users, even across separate organizations. With Aspera on Cloud, users can store and readily access files and folders in multiple cloud-based and on-premises storage systems.

Aspera on Cloud combines existing IBM Aspera Files and IBM Cloud High-Speed Transfer Service (also known as Aspera Transfer Service) offerings to deliver a simplified cloud offering with three purchasing options: Standard edition, Advanced edition, and Enterprise edition.

Each edition includes cloud storage and licenses for 2,500 authorized users, as well as support for IBM Aspera Drive and IBM Aspera Mobile applications. With these new options, clients can now subscribe either to a committed amount of data transferred on an annual basis or as a pay-per-use option (Standard edition only).

Key features and capabilities specific to each edition:

  • Standard edition: 1 TB of cloud storage; pay-per-use data usage option (clients are charged on the actual usage without committing to a specific term or a specific entitlement quantity); and other capabilities.
  • Advanced edition: 10 TB of cloud storage; support for single-sign-on and IBM Aspera on Cloud application workspaces; and other capabilities
  • Enterprise edition: 25 TB of cloud storage; support for single-sign-on and IBM Aspera on Cloud application workspaces; multiple Aspera on Cloud URLs under a single subscription; and other capabilities.

Statement of good security practices

Top rule

IT system security involves protecting systems and information through intrusion prevention, detection, and response to improper access from within and outside your enterprise. Improper access can result in information being altered, destroyed, or misappropriated or can result in misuse of your systems to attack others. Without a comprehensive approach to security, no IT system or product should be considered completely secure and no single product or security measure can be completely effective in preventing improper access. IBM systems and products are designed to be part of a regulatory compliant, comprehensive security approach, which will necessarily involve additional operational procedures, and may require other systems, products, or services to be most effective.

Important: IBM does not warrant that any systems, products, or services are immune from, or will make your enterprise immune from, the malicious or illegal conduct of any party.
