IBM® intends to deliver new features to IBM Blockchain Platform that are designed to facilitate enhanced key and credential protection integrations, support Kubernetes environments, align with certain internal enterprise compliance standards, and will include an upgrade to Hyperledger Fabric version 2.0. These added features will facilitate accelerated network growth for current clients and help them achieve greater capabilities across multicloud deployments.

IBM intends to enable enhanced protection of cryptographic signing keys for peer, orderer, and certificate authority nodes. This will include support for PKCS#11-compliant hardware security modules.

IBM intends to enable IBM Blockchain Platform to support the usage of any container management platform that supports Kubernetes version 1.11, or higher.

IBM will continue its commitment to incorporate the latest versions of Hyperledger Fabric, and intends to integrate support for Hyperledger Fabric version 2.0 with advanced tooling designed to enable clients to monitor, manage, and govern their network deployments. IBM Blockchain Platform support for Hyperledger Fabric V2.0 offers the added benefits of additional decentralized capabilities, additional enterprise-level security, and shortened development time.

IBM intends to implement controls designed to facilitate alignment of IBM Blockchain Platform with certain internal enterprise compliance standards related to ISMS Family of Standards (ISO27K), Service Organization Controls 2 (SOC 2), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
