IBM Power 570 processor card promotion (expires June 18, 2009)

The offer

For a limited time only, if you acquire:

an eligible new 8, 12, or 16-way IBM^® Power 570 server configured with 4.4 GHz/5.0 GHz processor cards, processor activations for all of the processors, and a minimum of 14 GB of activated memory per processor, or

an eligible new 16, 24, or 32-way IBM Power 570 server configured with 4.2 GHz processor cards, processor activations for all of the processors, and a minimum of 12 GB of activated memory per processor,

you can receive the configured processor cards at no charge.

Start and/or end dates

Orders must be received by IBM on or before June 18, 2009.

The Date of Installation (purchase date), as defined in the IBM Customer Agreement or any equivalent IBM agreement, must occur on or after May 8, 2009, but no later than July 31, 2009.

Additional information/conditions

IBM maintenance charges will apply to the no-charge Processor Cards upon completion of the warranty period.

In order to ensure accurate installation records for service and future maintenance, eligible new Power 570 server configurations acquired under the terms of this promotion will require an update to IBM's installation records after the server is installed. Bruce Wellington (wellingb@us.ibm.com), Sales Manager, IBM North America, is responsible for following up with your IBM sales representative to ensure these updates have been made.

In Canada, you are responsible for all applicable taxes such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), Provincial Sales Tax (PST), Quebec Sales Tax (QST), and other sales or value-added taxes which are extra.
