Programmer's Guide
This tutorial is written for programmers who are interested in developing applications or libraries for the Cell BE. It is not intended for programmers who want to develop device drivers, compilers, or operating systems for Cell BE. This is intended for experienced C/C++ programmers who are familiar with concepts of SIMD vector instruction sets. There is also an assumption of a development environment consisting of the Cell BE specific 64-bit Linux(R) OS and standard toolset, a Cell BE SDK, and Cell BE system or simulator. This document accompanies the public SDK from IBM.
