This document describes the SPE Runtime Management Library. This library provides applications access to SPE's via a thread abstraction model in which SPE programs can be scheduled for execution on an SPE thread.
The SPE Runtime Management Library Version 1 is deprecated as of 03/31/2007. Version 1.2 is the last available version of this library and will not be further developed in the future. Application developers should develop new code using the SPE Runtime Management Library, Version 2 and also move existing applications to Version 2 as quickly as possible.
