  IBM PowerPC 4XX System-on-a-chip

Applied Micro Circuit Corporation (AMCC) has acquired certain assets and licensed certain IP associated with the IBM PowerPC 4XX system-on-a-chip product line. AMCC will market, supply, and support this product line. IBM will continue to provide legacy documentation at this site until August 5, 2004 on behalf of AMCC.

  Surface Laminar Circuit™
July 1, 2003:
Kyocera Corporation acquires IBM Yasu SLC™ manufacturing operations. As a result of this acquisition, Kyocera will provide Surface Laminar Circuit (SLC) substrates for IBM as module offerings. SLC will no longer be sold by IBM as a stand-alone packaging product and we will, therefore, no longer supply, support, market, or provide technical documentation for this product.   PCI-X Bridge
March 31, 2003:
Tundra Semiconductor Corporation acquires the IBM 133 PCI-X Bridge Chip
As a result of this acquisition, IBM will continue to support Tundra through foundry services, but will no longer supply, support, or market this product. January 2002:
JDS Uniphase acquires the IBM Datacom transceiver product line.
